In accordance with the work plan of 2005, the Association of Chinese Graduate Schools(ACGS）organized a small delegation of deans to Australia from May 15 to 27, 2005 to attend the working meeting of the National Committee of Deans and Directors of Graduate Education of Australia (the first half of 2005). Song Xiaoping, Executive Vice President of the Graduate School of Xi'an Jiaotong University, gave a speech as the leader of the conference, introducing China's graduate schools and graduate education to the Australian colleagues engaged in graduate education. After the meeting, the delegation visited several universities/graduate schools to seek for further cooperation possibilities.
