On the morning of July 4th, the Association of Chinese Graduate Schools(ACGS）held an expert review meeting for admitting new members in 2021.

The expert review committee consists of the five chairpersons of the current session (Jiang Guohua, Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Peking University, Zheng Gang, Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Tianjin University, Wang Junzheng, Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Beijing Institute of Technology, Tongji University) Zhao Hongduo, Dean of Graduate School, Wan Xuehong, Executive Deputy Dean of Graduate School of Sichuan University), Ma Yanlin, Dean of Graduate School of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Ye Gongyin, Executive Deputy Dean of Graduate School of Zhejiang University, Gao Dong, Executive Deputy Dean of Graduate School of Harbin Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Fudan University, executive vice president Chen Yan and other four invited Dean composition, Liao Xiaoling director of the Secretariat of ACGS, Tianjin University Graduate School of integrated Office Director Zhang moved attended the meeting. The review meeting was conducted in an "online" manner. Zheng Gang, the rotating chairman of the 2021 ACGS, presided over the meeting as the director of the expert review committee.

Zheng Gang gave an overall report on the preliminary preparations, submission of application materials, review arrangements, follow-up matters and other aspects of the joint association's admission of new members in 2021. The members of the review committee respectively introduced the application materials they were responsible for reviewing, and expressed their opinions on whether they agreed to join the joint committee. Subsequently, the participating experts conducted a concentrated discussion on the application materials that did not meet the requirements for new membership, and voted to determine the proposed list of member units to be accepted.

In the next step, all members of the Association of Chinese Graduate Schools(ACGS） will review and vote on the expert review results. Those who have obtained the approval of more than two-thirds of the members will be deemed to have passed; the chair and dean meeting will review the voting results of all members and determine the plan to join the meeting. The list of members; subsequently, the joint committee will publicize the list of members to be admitted, and the public will have no objection, and become a member unit of the joint deans.

The deans participating in the meeting said that after the expansion of the membership unit of the joint association, the Association of Chinese Graduate Schools(ACGS）will enter a new stage of development. How to demonstrate with a new look and new deeds in the high-quality and connotative development of graduate education in the new era The style and appearance of the Association of Chinese Graduate Schools(ACGS）will further play an important role.
